Sms message sender have been working hard at making the website more useful to our users.  One of the main features that is requested from users is the ability to receive messages online, well now you can.

To enable this feature just head to your profile and set the option of “Reply to Shared Online Number via keyword”, here you will then see the Shared Mobile number of +447937947772 and the ability to set your own unique keyword!

We are going to add more features soon so you can choose to rent your very own dedicated online mobile number, we will be offering 16 mobile numbers from different countries around the world starting from £5 GBP per month.

We been working hard on updating our site to improve your experience.

We have now released to all users the ability to see the Status of your Text Messages, this allows you to determine if the end user has received the message you have sent to them! Sometimes if you send a message to a user multiple times with a Custom Sender Id you can get blocked as it is seen as “Flooding” the recipient.

With the new update to our site you can determine if the number you are sending to is indeed getting the message!

You can access this information from your Profile, and selecting Messages Tab

You can use our online text sender to send text messages from your computer to all of your customers.  This will help retain and engage your users.  We have had some feedback from a customer who runs a Hair Salon who sent out text messages to their 250 (approx.) customers who gave them their phone number and within 10 minutes they had 6 bookings.  So for less than 20 pounds they saw bookings with a value of over £350 not a bad return and they continue to use our services to promote their products and any discounts they offer.

Once you have registered your free sms sender account, you can set a custom sender id.  This can be 11 characters, landline or mobile number.  If you set your sms sender id to 11-character sender id this can personalise you text message and ensure the customer knows who the message is from, however they cannot reply to this message, so its always best to add a contact number into your sms message.

To help you send your bulk sms messages to your customers we have provided the ability to upload numbers.   You can download our template csv/excel file and just put your numbers in.  This can be a really easy way to reuse your contact list and grow your contacts as you get more customers.

Due to requests from customers we have just updated our website so that you can send sms using chinese, russian, arabic characters or any other language that uses ideograms

Most ideogram and symbol-based languages, such as Chinese, Hindi, Japanese and Cyrillic, use the Unicode Character Set to accurately send messages with native content. A message that uses the Unicode Character Set can contain up to 70 characters. If an extended or concatenated message is sent, then messages over 70 characters are sent (and charged for) in parts of 66 characters.
